Rivera, 22, of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2017 at home. Born February 2, 1995 in Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of Philip S. and Maria D. (Hernandez) Aponte.Karrina was a 2013 graduate of Phoenix Academy in Lancaster. She worked as a caregiver at United Disabilities Services in Hellertown, PA.In addition to her parents, Karrina is survived by her companion, Luis Rodriguez; her children, Jarrina S. Rodriguez, Kariell L. Rodriguez; her maternal grandmother, Maria E. Hernandez; her brothers, Johnny Rivera and Antonio Rivera; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Karrina was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Juan A. Hernandez and her paternal grandmother, Isabel Aponte.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service to be held at the Andrew T. Scheid Funeral Home "Sullivan Home" 121 South Prince Street, Lancaster, PA 17603 (on-site parking with attendants) on Friday, September 1, 2017 at 10AM. There will be a viewing held at the Andrew T. Scheid Funeral Home-Lancaster on Thursday evening, August 31, 2017 from 6PM to 8PM and Friday morning from 9AM to 10AM. Interment will be held at Mellinger's Mennonite Cemetery.
